Welcome to Fedora©Geeks.
It seems that in order to avoid paying a “Windows Tax” for a useless system you do not need or want, you must build your own machine to get what you want. Sad. FTC should wear MS out but they fear any big corporate entity.
“What is the difference between a computer and an air conditioner?” “They are both useless when you open windows.”

Have been using Fedora since 7, now up to 25, as a primary desktop environment. I find it to be a most robust and stable operating system. I also maintain 150+ virtual machines running Linux, BSD, Solaris, and Windows.
